Australian VIN's are totally different than US VIN's.
All 1961/80 US truck VIN's are 11 digits long: 1965 example: F10DR639123.
Beginning in 1981, the VIN is 17 digits long.
FTE has an Australian Chapter, you might post a thread inre to your VIN question there.

Without a door code we cannot tell you much.
F10 is normally associated with F-100 2WD.
A 5th letter "R" is associated with San Jose, CA plant, but you said the truck is foreign?
Like I said, we don't have much information to work with unless someone can decode a vin off of an Australian / NZ pickup.
