custom 1990 tailgate to 08 superduty
I have a 1993 tailgate on my 1990 dually. I got a hold of a 08 super duty tailgate. it is of course not wide enough for the 90 so i am thinking of taking the lower portion with the "super duty" pressed into it and welding it on the lower portion of my tail gate. it fits perfectly under the aluminum panel on the tailgate. just wondering if anybody has done this before? i will post pics soon.

I have a 1994 F150 with a 4.9 automatic, and it has a miss on #6, but only at idle, as soon as I step on the gas, it goes away, I swapped plugs with #3 cylinder after doing a compression test on #6 (125 lbs.) and it still does the same thing. I pulled the codes Key On Engine Off (KOEO) an I got a TON of codes 32,76,54,55,83,27,65,45,58,51,25,and 12 I have NEVER seen that many codes in my life !! I fired it up, and tried to pull the codes again, but all I get is a steady "BEEEEEEEEEEEEP" it won't go into diagnostic mode at all. I figured..."OK, bad ECM" as I had run into this before and it was a bad ECM, luckily, a good friend has a known good ECM out of his old 94 F150, 4.9 w/auto. I went and got it, plugged it in, same thing, only difference is, with the old ECM, the CEL would stay on as long as it was idling, as soon as you hit the gas....it went out! I have never seen that before either! With the new ECM, the light did that once, but the next time I started it, it just stays on. I tried pulling codes from this ECM with the engine running, and, same thing...NOTHING !The truck runs GREAT as soon as you get off idle, and take off, though the trans is "bang shifting" I am stumped.....ANYONE ??

First thing need slight adjustment in your coding, '94 throws 3 digit codes and they repeat.
327|654|558|327|654|558|512|512
327 evp below min voltage
654 not in park
558 fault in evr circuit
512 keep alive memory failure
You can see them here (not as many as one might think @ two digit, brings your 12 down to only 4 doesn't look near as bad), I summarized, used my own wording for each.

You got some problems there yea but maybe not as bad as you think.
ididually,
Yea I agree, think you'd pretty much have your own thing there doing that .
