clutch pedal box and slave cyl questions

ive been having a clutch issue even after installing a new valair clutch/fly wheel, master cyl and heim joint. so i inspected the clutch pedal box and slave cyl.

here are a few pics of what i found

worn bushing

bent pedal box? ive never seen one like this

and heres the position of the slave on the fork untouched

and heres how far i can push it in ( not engaging clutch, the oposite way)

not sure if the slave has any issues at all, i dont think so, but i may be wrong.

but i know the box looks messd up to me

Why do you have that washer on the Heim joint?

well if youll notice how close the nut already sits to the pedal box , bc of the worn bushing. i had to space out the bolt so i could depress the clutch. (this was before i found out my bushing was chewed up that badly) but ive ordered new bushings and they should fix me up. and i can remove the washer.

the slave cylinder is fine. The new ones you get at advance are made of plastic and don't have a bleeder screw so you bleed the system by doing what you are doing in the picture. I was also wondering what kind of clutch issues you were having. If the clutch isn't disgaging all the way I would say it would be the worn out bushing.

sometimes its a little rough to stick it in reverse/first gear sitting at idle. im gonna put the bushings in 1) bc ive heard of similar problems from others guys and this fixed theres 2) bc they were 18 bucks and i obviously have a worn bushing and it needs

i guess there is an upside to me replacing all these parts here lately... by the time im done ill have a brand new truck.

I dont think I have that piece of metal in mine either.
