THURSDAY...
REMAINING LOCALLY VERY WINDY THROUGH THE MORNING. NORTHEAST
WIND 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 45 MPH IN MUCH OF THE AREA...
WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 80 MPH NEAR DOWNTOWN JUNEAU...SOUTH DOUGLAS
AND OUT OF INTERIOR PASSES. A WIND GUST TO 88 MPH WAS OBSERVED AT
THE DOUGLAS BOAT HARBOR EARLIER THIS MORNING. TEMPERATURES SLOWLY
FALLING INTO THE UPPER TEENS BY NOON.


Felt like I was driving a sailboat to work this morning.

 

The wind is making some of the roads slick with the ice/snow blowing across.

But most important Who ate the Beans.lol

 

I hope that Juneau wind is not heading south. Got all we need on a normal day here.

 

Oven is fixed for for now.
Been without an oven for 3 weeks.
Took the ignitor form the broiler and stuck it on the oven tube.

The wind died down late last night with just a little breeze today.

 

Okay who left the door open and let all the cold in?

Been -20F the past 2 mornings.

Have to fly to Anchorage and back this week middle seat on full airplane both ways

 

I am heading for Ketchikan now on a Beaver bush plane. Good luck to ya and hope ya have skinny folks around ya that don't smell to bad.

 

Wish I could take an Otter to Anchorage at least I would have more room

Today is the first day in awhile that i didn't get any so i am posting now.

 

It's been going on for a few days.Admin finally got it fixed. They have a thread about it and said it won't happen again.
