a "brick" is commonly 500 rnds.

that's what's with Liam's rifle.

Yes, I have 22 ammo, I stocked up years ago when I started giving my God Kids a rifle.

I'm also in the "business"

for my fun job-
I am part owner of a Gun Shop
Alaskan Gun & Ammo

however, I believe you ought to have enuff rounds for whatever your primary tool happens to be.
I have right a 1,000 or so 300 WSM rnds on hand
plus, enuogh rnds for my other Non- "go-to" firearms.

not a hoarder, just a guy who like to hunt and harvest his own meat
and likes to enjoy doing it, instead of worrying about running out of ammo!

Morning everybody.

Going to be another hot one.
River is just slowly rotting away.
Would love for some .22 ammo to make it out to the bush.
Gave my father-in-law close to 200rds so he could hunt beaver as soon as the river opens up.

Stay warm everybody.

Evening Alaska. A friend of mine from Alaska that use to snowbird here in Arizona passed away this winter at his home in Alaska. He worked on the North Slope from the 70s until he retired in 2000s. He was a mechanic. Miss the old fart.

Morning everybody.

Going to 60F today and i hope we have a little breeze.

Chris the caribou population around here has crashed and i hope they will close it soon for awhile to rebuild the herd.

Some of the family has also worked the slope.
Last year my cousin lost her ex that worked there.

Stay warm everybody.

Afternoon everybody.

30F this morning and the river broke friday afternoon.
Still ice coming down so boating will have to wait a day or two.

Lot of earthquakes happening all over Alaska and abroad.

Stay warm everybody
