351 W in an early bronco?
Did Ford ever offer the 351 Windsor in the early broncos. Seems like some friends of mine in Boulder had a 68 or 9 with one that I think they bought new.

If you want to do one it is best to have a 2" body lift to clear everything.

Have fun getting the drivers side valve cover off if you ever need to.

My Ford Motorsport Valve covers were easy to change out with the 2" body lift. Best part is does not mess with your suspension & you can run 33's

Mine was a small block bell housing. Dont remember where I got it. Bolted right up. Ordered the adapter from Advance Adapters and bolted up the tcase.
Pretty easy install.

Yeah my 87 f150 with a 302 came with a c6. How much was the adapter for the transfer case? Did you have to get new driveshafts?

Adapter was around $600 at the time...that was 10-12 years ago. Do not know what it would cost now.

Its nice to have a C6 but a C4 is plenty, the loss in HP outweigh the C4 to the C6 Swap IMHO. A built C4 will handle 1000hp.

But my C6 has lower 1st and 2nd gears from a newer trans. Dont remember the model, but my transmission guy added the lower gears to help out the rear end gears.

That is good but you lose 40hp in the swap, Build the SBF 500hp
