Hey Fellow Ford people. I just bought a used 2006 F-250 King Ranch. Love the truck, however for the life of me do not understand since I have a sliding rear window - do not have electric side mirrors to retract????
Is there any kit to make what I have an electric Side Mirrors? since I believe the housing of the mirrors are the same, that is why I thought we had it!!
When you get a moment, can someone of my Ford buddies, enlighten me please
There should be a plug somewhere in the door panel to add electric mirrors, also near the window switch to add mirror switch.I doubt ford would use different harnesses for less equipped vehicles.
Cliff thank you for your swift reply - what I am trying to do, is to get the existing windows to retract, so that when you are in a tight spot, you can retract them. As far as electric I have, just need to retract or better wording - folding mirrors.. can you please let me know. Thanks buddy, speak with you real soon.
You need to purchase a set of towing mirrors, that fold in, I have those on my truck, not sure what the interchange is on your truck, 05-07 was pretty much same stuff, I will try and look into it for ya.
Okay Cliff I thank you. However, I do have Towing Mirrors, but it is manual. If I can somehow have them electrically do that, it would be great. Sorry to keep bothering you, but if you know a way, I would appreciate it. It seems tohave the same interchange as the folding mirror, just not electric. Thanks buddy, anything that you can do...
