Well I tore into the interior last evening and man its gonna need lost of metal. Floors are just about all gone which is fairly common I suppose for a truck this old. And I fiddled with the doors some and for the life of me I cant get the passenger door glass back in its track. Is there a trick to removing the glue in bracket from the roller? I can get the glass to fit in the rear channel but it wont slip into the front channel nearest the wing vent. I tried loosening the wing vent assembly but didn't have much luck. One more question, who makes/sells the best weatherstripping for these trucks? I found some NOS stuff on ebay thats seems a decent price. Thanks for any and all help!

Gots a question about the interior. Are the cardboard headliner pieces available aftermarket or should I save my old ones to make patterns for new ones?

the bed on your truck looks like the short bed fleetside on the one out in loami illinois . don't see a whole lot of shorty fleetsides around these parts . usually they're all stepsides . been meaning to wander out and see about it but ............. does that explain what i said . and nope tumblin not drunk just freaking tired . one of those work schedules where you meet yourself going and coming .................

Got a question about front suspension. I was looking through the Speedway catalog yesterday and they had a drop axle that would drop my truck 2 inches. Then a little farther down the page I found a set of front springs that would lower the truck 3 inches. If you use both will you get 5 inches of drop or will one cancel out the other?
