Show those flat decks!

My box on my 76' highboy is beyond repair(got backed into with a loader) so she is getting a deck.Any thoughts or tips? How bout some pics for inspiration.Theres gotta be some cool ones out there.

I agree, hope some pics get posted. In the future I want to restore a dually with a shiny diamond plate/wood deck.

I have a bunch of ideas of what i want to build.Its a bonus not having to worry about clearing fender wells with big tires having the deck.Wish i could have kept my box but it was far gone.Man thought there would have been so pics seems there is alot of great builders here.

Here is mine. Its a crappy shot, but it is the only one i and it's after i went at the flatbed with a crowbar. it was tounge and groove 2x8 walmanized lumber, with a 1-1/2 by 1-1/2 angle iron around the outside.

Not my truck used to see it everyday around here though, but thought it was an awesome flatbed, 68-69 F250

Dovetailed, integrated toolbox, in the vid it looks like he has rubber fender flares, but I remember him putting sheet metal flat fenders on it

Tool box is a must have for the jacks, recovery gear, chainsaw,parts ect.Sure is nice for working on the rearend without the box on tho.
