hey i'm stephen... i just bought my 97' F-150, i went through a pretty big change going from 97' Probe Gt, to a big ol' 4x4, i got bored with the import ricer scene...

well i have one question and i know this should be in the maintence forum but i like to talk to the ohio people,

i have a sqeek in the driver front tire, when i turn and when the truck moves, could that be a tie rod? it happened after towing a 4 place snowmobile trailer to U.P. Michigan... well any help will do
Thanx

A SQEEK?????? OH NO you'll have to shoot it now......
No just kidding does It sound like a brake sqeek? could be that,or wheel bearings need greased,or a suspension sqeek. I myself like to look at the easy and cheapest possibilities first before jumping in to far and over looking something simple. that should get you started in your search .......good luck

I'd be taking a look at the axle shaft U-joints. I've seen them do this before, especially OE's as they lack grease fittings. Not a rough inspection either. Have a good one,
Surefoot.
