What do I need to make a urban cowboy truck tribute

I posted this before and really didn't get many hits as a kid this was one of my fav movies. Growing up on southside Chicago don't see to many cowboys but I liked the movie and the truck. I know it's a 79 f150 with a roll bar and the bud and sissy plates etc but anymore info I could get chrome options etc to make a somewhat clone. Also I think it's a 2wd lifted short bed am I right?

Yeah man it's a sharp truck I think through the movie they used a few diffrent ones I had heard. It's a higher end model the chrome and black look great. The roll bar in the back set it off to I always wanted to do a tribute to it the best I could but I've been stuck what direction to go in

79outlaw, I now have one of those roll bars like in the movie that I'm about to tear off my new project truck...I'm going for a more stock look but I admit the truck in that movie has always been one of my favorites!

Hard to be certain, movie studios do all sorts of things, but my guess is this is a 1979 150 Ranger 2WD longbed with oversize tires and the roll bar.

i looked into it many times, if you watch in one scene you can see the twin i-beam suspenssion, you can also see the i-beams ae bent to set the tires strait after they lifted it. also i think it is a lariet. thanks

Those wheels are the old "Rocket" style rims. They are the same rims used on the General Lee in "The Dukes of Hazard" series. I'd look on E-bay or see if anyone is remanufacturing them now.
