P1316 – The PCM interrogates the Injector Driver Module (IDM) for a 300 μsec, 400 μsec, or 500 μsec extension on the Engine Feedback line. If any of these extensions exist that indicates that the Injector Driver Module (IDM) has stored codes then the fault is set.
P1670 – When a commanded Injector Driver Module (IDM) response is not received this fault is set.
I couldn't find a P0640, although there is a P0460...

my wifes f 250 was runnig great the night befor, and we shut it off to go to sleep and when we took off in the morning it set the check engine lite and started running bad, so i had her shut off the engine and restart it ran ok for a few miles and then bad again. so i changed the crank position sensor , and it ran good for a few miles , it set the cel again. i checked the codes and it had po470 , po478 and p1316 i called auto zone and they told me exaust pres sensor failure and exaust back presure sensor failure. i un hooked the ebp sensor and it started running good again, was this just random? or did i bump the injector harness when i was reaching for the ebp sensor, i returned the hyper tech programming to stok and it wont even go over 15 mph now, it has a new code po603 programing error. my wife turned the key off while i was programing it,
i installed a ball buster turbo on my f 350 and 4 inch pipe and super chips set on max ( 6 speed manual) they tols me to unhook my ebp sensor and leave it off . it always has the ebp code but they said that was norma and to ignor it. any ways thats why i unpluged it on my wifes. any help would be greatly apreciated. i tryed to clear the codes , but now it acts like it has several cylinders missing. could this be the injector harnes problem , ill try the wiggle test tomarrow. dtcs po470 ,po475, po478, po603, p1613 or 1316 im dislexic. HELP !!!!!!
After much reading on the forum, trouble shooting my 02 F350 4x4. Right bank dead. Traced all wiring had new valve cover gasket replaced. To no avail truck just left shop for 800.00 stopping oil leaks. Well problem has been found # 7 injector bad shorting out complete bank. Code it was showing p1316 you could reset code it would run for 45 seconds then drop complete bank.... thanks for info.
