Please post your Badge modification/removal pics

Hey guys,

Please post up some pics if you have removed your badges or did any modifications to them. I did a search on here on this topic and found very few pics, so i figured id start this one for our viewing pleasure and to give me some ideas as well.

I have removed my 4x4 offroad stickers and the powerstoke badges from my doors. I'm looking for some ideas for my ford badges and the F-350 badges as well. i know there are positioning holes under these and i would rather put my badges back over the holes than fill them. i'm thinking of just blacking out all the badges.

here is a link to what i'm considering doing with blacking out the badges. this guys truck is badass.

I had custom badges made for my truck from billet badges. That would be the route that I would go. The only stock badge that I have left is the KR badge on the tailgate. The two oval badges, powerstroke badges, and the fender badges were custom done.

Yeah, i see what you're saying. i'm thinking of using the same stuff that i used to piant headache rack i had. it's more of a flat black with a rough texture. it'll match evrything else i plan on painting on the truck with the same stuff.

I removed my front emblem from the old center section that I cut out of my grill and re-mounted it to my home-made grill

I removed the door emblems, welded up the fender holes and replaced the the grill emblem with a billet badge with black lettering. Very happy with the clean look. The running lights are now smoked. More pic's in link below.

+1 here as well. I don't think the newer badges can be acetoned if I remember correctly. I'll get some people questioning me on mine occasionally as you really don't see them that often. It was a very popular mod on here many years ago.
