Bolt size?????????

Need some help......does anyone know the size of the (2) bolts that holds the rear caliper on. I'm changing my rear pads and rotors.

I think I found the size, 18mm.......Now the other question, what is the troque value and do you use thread lock on the bolt?

Cover both here, the caliper mounting bolts are torqued at 27 Ft lbs,
the caliper mounting bracket bolts get 128 Ft lbs.

No thread lock.

Thanks! I was at a service station and saw a mechanic use thread lock on the bolts for the mounting bracket.

No thread lock? What? Not on MY truck !

Original stock bolts come with blue crud on them. It's THREAD LOCK.

I didn't know they came with blue loctite on them. No sign of it on front or rear bolts and nothing about using it in the manual so that's what I've gone with.

First, I'd use it on anything brake-related, and second, I know for a fact that they had it on when I first took my brand-new truck brakes apart the first time

Not questioning you, just hadn't seen any sign on mine. That could probably be because they had been removed plenty of times by the dealer to fix the leaky ESOF issue during warranty.
