Now what fun is that, you drive a 3+ ton monster, get that baby cruising.
I think I talked about it in the other thread, but my 2010 EL w/3.73s(obviously) manages about 15-16 mpg on mildly hilly Iowa roads at 80 mph.
I know. That was doing 70-80mph. I think we had a bit of wind at our tail too. Coming back into the wind at the same speeds I couldn't get more than 20.5 or so.
i just posted this in another thread, wish i read this one first.
2010 regular length, 4x2, 3.31 w/ factory 20's the wife gets 16-17 in the city. haven't taken any road trips yet. (that's what the excursion is for....)
I'd think the 3.31 axles would bet better than 20 as I can squeeze 20 out of my 3.73s.

Where we live & with the type of driving we do, I would bet money we would get better mileage with 3.73s than with the 3.31s. Wife's is a 2010 4x4, 3.31s & 20s and 6th gear is a joke. It shifts in & lugs then you hit an incline & it drops a gear. I'd give anything to have something lower in ours. The part that that's really sad is it has the "heavy towing package".
Just got back from a 1800 mile trip and best tank was 21.4 (hand calculated) at 70 mph with cruise. I still have less than 4K on the OD and it might get a little better when it is broken in.
