So who all is going to the F-100 Super Nationals May 13-15th in Pigeon Forge? And will you be taking a truck? I'll be taking my 74 F-100 short bed, but wont be putting it in the show, just driving it up there. Hope to meet some of you guys.

Wish I could get my lift, handcontrols and replace some steering components in my 73 E-100, love to take it, better for next year.

 

Driving over on Friday, staying at the Grand Hotel; as of right now I'm taking my 76 Highboy 4x4. Be there Friday & Saturday. Not entering either; just drooling this year. lol

Doing all I can to make it to the Nats, especially since I have paid for none refundable room. The flood issue has got things spinning around here.

Its about an hours drive for me so I think I'm going to try to go Thursday afternoon, should be able to see most everything and beat some of the crowd.

As for me, I'm ready to get out of this swamp I call home and hed for the high country for a few days

 

Well; I've talked my neighbor / non active FTE member (DA Judge 51) into going as well. So its me, DT 466man (Taylor) & Larry heading east Friday morining. Was taking my Highboy; but three in a single cab sucks for 4hrs. Hopefully another buddy who's trying to complete his 63 f100 lwb in time to put in the corral there will make it as well.
He only has his bed to paint and finish putting the interior in. Today we put on the front clip and started plumbing the engine.

Well change of plans for me, I was leaving erly satterday morning, but got a room at the Grand for tomorrow night, and will be heding out tomorrow morning. Hopefully the rain will hold off. It allways seems to either rain while i'm at the show, or on the way home. Everyone have a safe trip, hope to see ya there.

Josh look for Shane's [Slammedi'am] Lightning in the show, white with orange racing stripe on the hood. Some of use will be hanging around there.

 

Didn't get to make it today, and probably won't get to make it at all. To much going on at work and have a ton of stuff to do at the house too. I did see a few trucks on I-81 this morning headed that way from VA (I was on my way to Bristol, VA). Kind of like salt in the wound. Oh well theres always next year.

When i called to book my room thismorning the lady said there was already a few trucks there in the hotell parking lot. Hope its a good turn out this year, with the rain, and being the first year back in Pigeon Forge again. I kinda liked it being in Knoxville, it was a great place to have the show. But who knows, it might be even better this year. See yaul there, and again, drive safe. I'll be sure to get some pics to share for those who couldn't make it.
