Can anyone tell me how to reset this anti-theft feature on a 98 expo? I bought it about 6 months ago and it came without the owner's manual. I tried to start it up this morning and it starts, but after a few minutes, the idle roughs up and it just dies. Any help would be appreciate. Thanks.

 

When it dies that means that your key
is not programmed correctly and the
anti theft system sees that and
stalls the engine

I don't think its the PAT key. That will usually kill the engine in about a second , not a few minutes. Might check the fuel filter. A cloged filter will act like that.
