I'm going to have to miss the GTG in Charleston. The Memorial Service for Senator Don Caruth is Saturday at 1PM in Princeton. I'm part of the committee that is putting nominations together for the Governor to select an office-holder to serve until we can elect a replacement.
I'm really sorry that I'm gonna miss this...maybe I can talk Brenda into taking my place at the GTG!!!

I vote to postpone for a later date. Since it is on Mothers Day and I also have a family get together that day too. I was going to skip the family gtg, but it does not look like we will have many participants. How about June? Mike? Tammie? Paul?

Senator Don Caruth's Service was beautiful but lasted almost three hours.
I'm truely sorry it screwed up our scheduled GTG. We'll get it together yet!
Ok, I'm supposed to be setting up a white water rafting trip (the New River, not the Gauley) on Saturday the 19th of June in Fayetteville. If any one is interested, let me know and I can always schedule a second raft. Each raft holds 8 folks, and lunch on the river is included in the price. The price is @ $100 per person.
Personally, I would consider camping...there's a campground on the rafting company's base camp location. This would be a pretty cool GTG opportunity if anyone is interested.
Think about it and let me know...I would need about 10 days notice to set up a second raft.
