Great writeup and good info. I have a question about the "silver stars" you mention, I'm not fimiliar with these, are they just replacement bulbs? I HAVE notice recently some vehicles have a brighter 'blueish' beam are those 'silver stars' and lastly where is a good place to purchase these if they are just bulbs?.........Thanks in advance for any input.

Hello, they are just a replacement bulb. These ones:
Amazon.com: Sylvania 9007 SU SilverStar Ultra Halogen Headlight Bulb (Low/High Beam), (Pack of 2): Automotive Amazon.com: Sylvania 9007 SU SilverStar Ultra Halogen Headlight Bulb (Low/High Beam), (Pack of 2): Automotive
are the ones I have ran for the last 5 years and liked them.

Now I just upgraded to this one:
Sylvania 9007 SZ SilverStar zXe High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb (Low/High Beam), (Pack of 2) : Amazon.com : Automotive Sylvania 9007 SZ SilverStar zXe High Performance Halogen Headlight Bulb (Low/High Beam), (Pack of 2) : Amazon.com : Automotive

The Sylvania SZ SilverStar zXe's are so far great. They look bluish, but the light output is bright white. I have only had these in for almost 2 weeks. So far worth the money.

Great write up, I am now just getting around to doing this myself. Found the same lights from 360 Tuners & Anzo USA. Looks like you chose Rock Autos. Trying to figure out which ones to buy.

I picked my set up from 1aauto. They are still clear and working great with the sylvania sivlerstar bulbs. I would reccomend using some clear RTV sealant prior to installation just as an addded precaution.

These are the Headlights before and after from 1Aauto. I also installed sylvania sylverstar bulbs and made sure to have my wife help me seal them. I have had these on a month and a half now and they are still awesome. I would not hesitate to do this prior to other mods. Pics to follow:

Awesome post up B_C! Thanks. Below is my current thread, 10 years after this original thread and 5 years after your post to this thread. I am curious how these clear headlights from 1aauto have performed for you over the past 5 years?
