Semi OT: Having problems with my Sirius radio

I'm getting a lot of static/feedback from my Sirius radio since installing it in the OBS, I've never had this big of a problem before. The install is as such:
Sirius tuner mounted with a suction cup mount to the windshield near the A-pillar
Power wire runs under the dash and is wired in to turn on/off with the key just like I had it in the past 2-3 rigs I've put this setup in. There is a small section of the power wire tightly coiled up and zip-tied to a bracket under the dash
Antenna goes up the A-pillar and along the driver's side edge of the cab to the back, over to the 3rd brake light and comes straight out from the center of the 3rd brake light about 8-10" or so. The excess antenna wire is coiled up and zip-tied to the cab under the trim in the driver's side rear corner of the cab.
The only difference in install between the SD and the OBS is the antenna routing and how much/where the antenna wire is coiled up but I'm getting way more feedback now. Thoughts/suggestions?

when we used to hook up CB radios, we were always told not to coil antenna wire as it will interefere with reception. instead, find a way to keep it spred out as much as possible like above the headliner . hope this helps

x2. Or under the floor carpet, vinyl, or whatever. Go hook up a long cable to your tv or satellite and coil it up in a similar way. TV picture will be terrible or non-existent. Bet that's the problem.

Well it has worked okay for me in the past... but I can un-coil the extra antenna wire and see what happens.

My sirius in my truck had some static in it till i put a sony deck in it that had a audio input in it so you can just plug the sirius into it eliminating the need of the fm transmitter which helps clear up the signal
