Need Radiator for 1963 223 ci 6 engine F500
Radiator repair did not work.
I am looking for a replacement radiator for a 1963 Ford F500 truck, 223 ci 6 cylinder engine. I have seen some on-line for $400 shipped but this is a farm truck not a show truck. I would like to get something less expensive.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

No crap! We have one of those sitting behind my local autoparts store! What is the grea difference between that and everything else? Kinda looks like the progney of a F series and a C series geting it on?
Where can I get some more info on the funky looking N series Number Dummy?

Another need for my 1963 F500 Ford truck--223 straight 6
Can you help me locate the original part number (or a source) for a 4 way hazard switch -- 4 posts needs to be able to have all 4 terminals hot when switch is "on" when switch is off all r terminals need to be seperate but hot. Used for blinker signal and for 4 way hazard flashers.
Original switch not necessary as it is only a farm work truck.
Thanks

Get a used radiator from your local junk yard, about $50. The dimensions should be similar and the thickness no greater than the stock unit. The inlet/outlet should be in the same general location as stock. It helps if the diameter of the inlet/outlets on the replacement radiatior are the same. Your local parts store, e.g., NAPA, will have a spec sheet with IDs and lengths for universal flex hoses. Pamper the truck with new hose clamps.
I went this route on the '55 using heavy duty door hinges. two per side - available at Lowes, to mount the replacement radiator.

Fits: 1961/64 F100/250 223 & F350 223 with SRW.
No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.
FTE member airharley is a NAPA partsman, posts in this forum. I suggest you contact him to see if NAPA has a replacement radiator that will fit.
Since 1964 was the last year for the 223, finding a used radiator that has the same specs...in a wrecking yard will not be EZ.
Flex hoses should be used as a last resort only! Flex hoses are made with a cloth & steel inner core woven into the rubber.
These hoses are notorious for tearing the necks oughtta the radiator.

Can you give me your radiator dimensions for your truck......I have a brand NEW OLD STOCK Ford Radiator that I bought for my 62 F600, but it is too tall for the truck. I will see if I can post the Ford Part # to see if anyone can tell me its correct application.....It really is a nice radiator!
