3rd Annual MidAtlantic Meet at the 2010 Carlisle All Truck Nationals.
Carlsile ATN's 2010<---- Click for a countdown clock
Ladies and Gentlemen, your attention please…
It is that time of year again when we must turn our attention to the annual August meet. It is once again at the All Truck Nationals at Carlisle. The dates for this year are August 6TH-8TH. The main FTE thread can be located here. The details on the hotel and campground can be found there. You may want to subscribe to it as this is where the updates and such will go.
There has been a change in the pre-registration procedure. If you pre-register BEFORE June 15th, the folks at Carlisle will mail you your gate pass. This will allow you to drive right on in and bypass the registration tent. The carlisle registration page can be found here. Make sure you register with the correct club.
If there is anyone attending that would be able to bring an EzUp style canopy, each chapter is requested to bring one and to have a State Chapter Banner (Joe??) for the front of it. If not, let me know and I will try to source the canopy. The banner if anyone has a source on it that would be great. This will enable us to sell fundraising stuff and handle chapter registrations as needed. There is Wi-Fi available on the premises.
There is a thread for needs and volunteers here, please check it out.
There are awards and trophies again this year, Eric (High Intentions) and Arlene are handling those this year, see the thread here.
Scott and the Pennsylvania Chapter are handling the food and cooking concerns.
To help pay for the meet again this year there are still several shirts available as well as window decals. Shirts are $10.00 with $3.00 shipping and $2.00 each additional shirt. The decals are $5.00 ea. Please contact GLRUFF, George of the Delaware chapter for these.
We won 1st place in club participation last year let’s keep that going. We would also like to win the team/spirit award as well, so we need to be thinking about that.
If there are any questions please do not hesitate to ask them.
Thanks to all,
<O</O
Matt

Seriously folks, Carlisle is just a hop skip and a jump for about half of the state's truck population...I'd like to see the WV Chapter be well represented this year!

Matt, I'll bring the canopy, a 6'table and a couple of chairs. We'll need a generator (to power the laptops and music!!!)
I'll also find us a WV state flag...we just need a good sized chunk of schedule 40 pvc to mount it to. Then I figure we'll duct tape it to one of the canopy legs so that we get some visibility. That is unless we can convince Rod to come and bring his expanding flag pole!!!

The chebby guys apear to be a little pissed off that we dethroned them last year, let's not let them win it back!!! They already have more pre-registered than we do...

Registration for All Truck Nationals has changed this year. If you PRE-register, before July 5th, you will have your registration material/stickers mailed to you. No need to stop at the Registration building! Instead, you will be able to drive straight through to our tent. (We'll be the BIG one, on the hill!)
Be sure to select MidAtlantic Ford Trucks - FTE when registering.
Information and Sign up thread is here,

Looking forward to seeing you there!!

I feel really bad and had planned to attend the event. I was having my wife call for a hotel for two events we are attending, and updating our schedule when I found out.
Thanks

I contacted Eric about whether one of his tech's can still attend. He said he will get back to me, but doesn't see why not.
