I have one in NJ, also have a friend w/ car transport who can get it to south Va,...somewhat closer to SC....also have a truck that I may be parting out..78/79 f250 4wd...but I am keeping drivetrain, frame in pic is loose and available, no rust issues
lostinfords, Thanks for your response. I will keep your frames in mind. This is exactly what I'm after, but because of the distance and condition of the frame, i'm going to sit tight for a bit. If possible I would prefer a frame that has only light surface discoloration/corrosion (like the right side of that first cross member) and not the heavy pitting like the passenger side that frame looks like it has. I am putting a Cummins in it so it needs all the strength it can get!!!! If I cant find what I need I'll be in touch. Thanks again.
Tom....You are welcome...the condition is deceiving in the pics..the frame is in good condition, I got it to replace a frame that is wasted but I bought another complete truck instead..so now it sits...and it will sit until someone needs it or I need it somewhere down the road..the distance?? I totally iunderstand, but remember my buddy lives near Richmond,Va ...so it is not as far as Jersey. I may be having a crew cab 4wd frame going to Arizona, so South Carolina isn't all that far..

What is the condition of the frame (rust/accident damage)?
Has the frame been modified in any way?
I assume it is a leaf sprung front?
Is the front 60 original to the truck?
What rear, trans, transfer case?
Pics would be good too.

Hasnt been modified as far as i know.
It is leaf sprung.
As far as i know the 60 is original
60 rear/c6/205
The crank is sticking out of the oilpan.
One rear spring pack was takin out but its in the bed. No idea why.
Its gonna need to be hauled either way. And i have no way to transport it.

I would really prefer to sell it without the front and could make you a good deal. If i sell the front ill have to clear the cash for a new one. I need it for a project but its gonna be awhile before its time.
