Why are we selling?
There is nothing wrong with the vehicle. No accidents, no mechanical problems, etc. Our family Loves the Flex, but contemplating changing careers forces sale. So my loss is your gain.
What is wrong with the Flex?
There are 2-3 small door dings. The kind you only see in the right light when your hand washing the vehicle. One wheel has some VERY minor curb rash. Other then that, nothing comes to mind. There is a little discoloration of the carpet on the floor in the front seats. This is from nothing more then normal Iowa winter wear and tear.
Life of the Flex:
All service work has been done at local Ford garage with oil changes done at 3,000 miles. Tires rotated and balanced every 6,000 miles. Recent 4 wheel alignment.
Flex has not been used as a commuter vehicle. Most of the miles came from our trips to Colorado, Minnesota, Kansas, and visiting family all across the state of Iowa.
The Flex is rated for 17 mpg City and 24 Highway. We normally get around 19+ in town and have seen 26+ on interstate trips where the speed control is set at 75 mph. We have gotten almost 28 mpg going 60 mph to Northwest Iowa on a couple of trips.
Yes it has the Trailer Tow Package. The only thing it has ever towed is our 5’x8’ aluminum golf cart trailer. So on the high end, maybe 1,500 lbs. has been towed.
I have all the paper work that came originally with the vehicle from the window sticker and manuals to the sales brochure.
The Evil Part of the Ad:
MSRP New = $38, 745.00
Kelley Blue Book Retail Value = $35,200
Kelley Blue Book Private Party Value = $32,405
Kelley Blue Book Trade-In Value = $29,305
(Values as of 4/26/10)
I am asking $28,000 or reasonable offer. So less then Trade-in value. Contact Info:
If you have made it this far into the ad, and are still interested in the vehicle, you may contact us through PM on this site or by phone at 515-460-one seven two three.
No tire kickers or scam artists, please.
