The new sweet ride! Just got it home last week, and unloaded it off the trailer. The trans ended up quitting about 100 miles into driving it home, and had to tow it the other 30. But still for about $2k, I think I got a STEAL on it!
nope, no joke. well I paid $1k, and traded my dirt bike that was worth about the same. It does have the 460, and I'm taking that out to put in my other full size.
ok so maybe you could part it out and get 2k out of it but as a running truck with bad tranny I wouldnt have paid more than a grand. The 60 would be nice though.
a supercharged one ton big block with a bad tranny and a body that is beat to hell. i have to ask the mileage before i call you retarded, but a bad trans means it was worked, and the charger tells me that it was worked too hard. i trust in bbf's but not in e4od's. i am torn on this, because i am a hillbilly, and the interior tells me that the charger came at tax time, and was put on a wore out motor. i don't know prices for your area, but i feel that you got boned and fell for the supercharger. granted you don't live near me, but my newer low mileage(95,xxx) one ton big block is for sale for 3k, and has 9''s of lift with 38's on 12'' wide rims, with a barely better body. so to sum this up, i say sucker, you've been had:flipoff:
I almost want to say that it was stolen, but it's got a clear title. It is the rollalong package too, so in it's hay day, it was a great truck! The thing runs GREAT! so the trans will get rebuilt, and the engine/trans is going in the full size... and now that I've got a dana 60/sterling laying around... I'm now thinking of a 1 ton ranger! Too bad I just cut down my D44 for the swap, but hopefully someone will want it. The rest will just go to scrap
