My place gets smokin hot durring the summer and I have no AC.

 

Well, here it is the end of May and still wating for better weather. At least on the coast.
By the way, Today I bought a FL1995 oil filter at Walmart in Bellingham for $10 bucks. I bought one at Ford up here for $24.48. plus tax. Both were actual Motorcraft. It don't figure.

We had great weather on the weekend.

As for the cost of the filter, that doesn't suprise me. We, as a country, have been brainwashed into thinking that it is ok to get ripped off.

 

Helped a guy move today. I don't know how I get sucked into doing that. Must be the fact that I have a couple trucks and wont loan them to anyone.

It has been cloudy, sunny, rainy, muggy off and on all day.

As far as Home Depot Steve. I had some issues with some of their business practices when I worked in Alberta and we were supplying them lumber.

Closest home depot is 4 hours away, so I don't shop there too much

 

Our closest is about 2.5 hrs. away. A fairly large Rona is about 1.5 hrs. away. We have an Irly Bird here but not terribly large.

 

We have Windsor Plywood, Smithers Lumber Yard (Timber Mart), and Telkwa Farm Supply (Castle).

Well, the farm Supply is in Telkwa, but that is still Smithers, if you ask me

 

Funny thing strikes me when I read this post. When I was a young fellow in the 50's Telkwa was a long drive to Smithers. Close to a 1/2 hour. The old bridge was down a steep hill from either side and was abour 12 miles. We moved away befor the new bridge was built, changing the trip to a 10 minute drive.

Yeah the old bridge got taken out by an ice jam before I was born. For awhile there, they were taking people across with helicopters
