Your 99.5 is a forged motor.

All 99's were forged, as were most 2000's. A small few 2000's and many 2001's were PMR motors, and all 2002-03's were also PMR's.

500-525...

Add a oil system and you should be over 575, 200% nozzles will get you right near 600... Beyond that and you need to step up to 300-350cc hybrids.

Once at that point I dont care what guys say, there not daily driving them anymore.

CSIPSD how much hp do you think I can get out of a forged block as is? Thinking of doing an engine swap. Also thinking of what kind of up grades to start with. Turbo, injectors, etc

How much HP are you looking for? Thats the first thing you need to ask yourself on any build.

ya, it may change later, but give your self a goal and go from there.

Stock Forged blocks can and will hold 650-700 hp with the right upgrades, tuning and no drugs...

My goal right now is 500 and go from there. I still got some ways to get there though. My intension was to swap a motor with out doing any to the motor it self. Will the head studs be able to handle that much hp?

The build sheet I posted above will get you there...

250/100% hybrids
Modded H2e or like
Studs
910 valve springs

Tranny to hold it...

No oil system, no nitrous, no special crap. Stock long block.

I know many guys running that set up, myself included... I have 200% nozzles, but not by choice.

So it can be done with the heads on the block. Well looks like I'll be getting some ARP head studs.

Thanks
