ok so i jsut spent 5 hours pulling the front sus off a doner 68f100 at a junkyard. the king pins are totaly shot on mine. i was woundring how the backing plate/spindle arm come off.i want to reuse the arms and plates on my original front axles. in way better shape then the doner trucks. and im kinda stuck.got all the bolts out of the backing plate and arms and the 2 upper bolts came right out with my fingers after removeing the nuts. the lower bolts wont budge. got the nuts off and tryed to tap the bolts through and the wont budge. even tryed to turn them out and about broke them off. felt the give alil but while watching the end of it in the spindle arm they wernt moveing dont wana end up snaping them off.any help or ideas are very welcome and will be very helpfull to me.turcks been down since last summer and really wana hit the road agin in her.thanks for ur time and any help.

 

well yesterday i decided to just brake the lower bolts on the doner axle.turns out they were just rusted in tight. all the bolts in my axle came right out with my fingers after removeing the nuts.made me fell like a dummy but was the first time ive takein a twin ibeam style sus apart so live and learn.trucks fixed now just gotta get afew fuel system bugs worked out and itll be golden.
