My crew cab is a 4x4 and I put a 1976 front axl with disc brakes under the truck. Can anybody tell me what to do for a power booster and master cylinder.
Welcome aboard! Please post some pics of your crew - we love pics here & I personally, love crews! As to the booster & mc, my thought would be to use the one that matches the brakes - from the '76. Although, from what I've read here, most of these parts are interchangeable. Since I haven't messed with this myself (I've got a straight axle '63 going to a Crown Vic front end), I'll defer to NumberDummy, JoWilker and any other more senior guy who knows this stuff better. Again, welcome!
I pulled the power booster from the 76 and the push rod going to the brake pedal is 1'' longer. What do you think I should do? I will post pictures of my crew cabs sometime today.

I spaced my master brake bracket and booster out the 1 inch from the firewall. reason was i did not have the 9/16ths drill bit to drill another hole with.
I would be sure to measure the stroke of the two masters. You may need the extra stroke to stop A crewcab 4x. That, and, the increased leverage from putting it in the right spot on the pedal arm. Rich

I was thinking of that but wasn't sure if the stroke length would work.
