When I was messing with it yesterday it got hung up spinning the bike over. Even when I let go of the button, and shut the handle bar switch off. Switched the key off and still kept turning over, had to disconnect the battery to get it to stop.

Hope you get the bike sorted out. Sounds like you got it narrowed down.

Got my bike back on the road Saturday. Went for a 60 mile shake down ride. The reworked front end is like night and day. Clutch is working great. Need to either do a valve job or install a catch can on the breather lines. I'm marking my territory everywhere I go. Now that the front end is like butter I need to freshen up the rear suspension. I also want a new muffler.

Ordered my starter relay Thursday online after getting a $87 quote from the dealer. Got less than $20 in it. Installed it today and she fires right up now.

Also ordered me a set of leather over pants and a vest today since we are trying to get a VRA chapter setup (Vulcan riders association)

Good deal on getting your bike sorted out James!

With the new starter relay on the bike is turning over better than ever! Use to it would "kick back" when cranking. So far it has not done that since the new relay.

Might soon be in the market for two, older, running, 4-wheelers. Real basic for the kids in the woods. something I wont have to wrench on every time they ride.

While i was looking I found an old big-red three wheeler for sale for cheap. Looks like fun too. Something for me to haul crap around the woods or ride to deer stands. My friend had one when I was younger. I remember it was fine for putting around but was down right dangerous to ride fast.

I had one of those 3 wheelers as a kid it was fun to cut up on.

I wouldn't mind having a little 3 or 4 wheeler now to cut up on at the house.

Honda made one I think it was called the Big Red aka Widowmaker... Still I agree a ATV would be fun to play with in the yard and around some of the places near here. I'm just weary of spending much on a toy, then having to try to resell it if I get bored with it.

Close enough that my saddlebags hit one of them during the test. You will need to practice tight turns before you take it. Good news is most of the instructors want you to pass, so they are easy to get along with.

Test. What test?
I was riding before there was a NC motorcycle endorsement.

Needed to sign an affidavit stating how many years of riding experience I had and the endorsement went on my license...
Good luck with your test, Larry..
