45? Holy. I wind out at 10 mph. You must have a 3.08 gear. 3.08 gear with a 302, pulling 6,000 lbs?

Forget it, man. It's not worth hurting your truck over.

^ meh.. no big deal.. And I edited the post. The rear gear is a 3.31. Gonna take it out for a wash now and grab some coffee. Gotta get more buffer bonnets for the car. It's needs a wax that I've been putting off long enough. Gotta get off my *** today.

Man I'm the same way. I have a sinus infection and I'm having a hard time getting off mine today. It's nearly 11 and I'm still in my night gear.

I have only given my truck one real wax job in the 5 years I've owned it.

You know, I find it interesting that I somehow feel 100% better when my girlfriend comes around. I don't seem to have a problem getting off my butt then. A true mystery!

I'd install some air bags or timbrens in the back, install a tranny cooler, and just take your time. If your trailer has brakes, I think you'll be ok.

The most important part is not being in a rush. You'll save your truck and be safer if you're not pushing it.

I think you could do it with 3.31's. I pulled heavy loads with 3.08's and it wasnt nearly as bad as most think. Just take your time.

Trailer brakes for sure!
