I am looking for the dimensions, preferable an AutoCAD file, but a PDF would be fine or some other electronic file of the dimension for a 99' Super Duty long bed. I need this for some equipment racks I've been asked to build. I have a 99' SD250 Long bed, but I have a bed liner and a tall cap on mine, were as the one I am building these racks for is a bare bed (out of state)
So it would save me a bunch of time to be able to locate this info versus having to remove my cap and bedline to measure everything. So do you guys know where to get this info? I've done multiple google searches resulting in nothing other than the bed length.
well.... im sure a few people have possibly come across this with an older ford with a serious load on it and with old metal on the bed it gets soft... my bed cross supports on my 90 250 dug right into my frame rail and is starting to cut my pinch welds on my bed into my airbags... basically until i can get an exact measurement of the "U" shaped metal cross supports that seat the bed on the frame rail i cant haul any loads of heavy work that i got this truck for and what its meant to do... i guess 130/sq ft of bluestone and 500 brick in one shot is a bit excessive... lol any help would be apreciated.. prob just gonna get a heavier gauge of sheet metal to weld in and set the bed with some treated paint
