powerchorde is starting off with a positive reputation.
Hello

HI Everybody, And thanks Steve,
Im Dave From Long Beach, as mentioned I own a 66 F-250. The truck was actually a gift from my wife. I have loved 60's era F- series since i was about 12 or so. I learned to drive in my Dad's 69 F-250 work truck and have been hooked since. unfortunately when Dad retired he sold the truck without considereing how bad I would have loved to own it. since then due to money conststaints I never could get my hands on one til now. My sweet wife had a work injury case settle, and she bought me among other really nice things my truck. So far we have put about 3 grand into it for mechanical and age related problems, it runs extremely strong and is actually my daily driver. my next big thing is im getting an exhaust upgrade next month. then a carb, then body and paint, as time and money allow.
Looking forward to participating here and meeting others with similar interests.
be talkin!
