Well Ed looks like the one, 561.39 shipped for a new oil cooler, i plan on going with the RCD EGR delete, looked on ebay and they have a new store, they are selling theirs for 300 or best offer now. Will probably offer lower but so far....

$561.39+$300+$177.69=$1039.08 for parts and talked to the guy i plan on having do the the work, he estimates 700-800 bucks for labor, so about 1700-1800 for everything......

Gonna pressure test my hg's tomorrow to make they havent died either, my fingers are crossed.

I am curious as to why you are replacing the whole filter assembly instead of the oil cooler core? I am sure you have a reason but ...

The price of over $500 is what the entire oil filter housing with attached oil cooler would cost. The replacement oil cooler kit can be bought all day long for less than $225. You remove the oil filter assy, unbolt the oil cooler, clean everything out and carefully suck all the oil out of the valley reservoir. Replace the $15 HPOP oil screen, again being very careful to be clean and careful because this screen is the last defense before the oil goes into the HPOP pump. Pour a quart of oil in the valley, put it back together and enjoy. The oil cooler rebuild kit comes with great instructions and all the gaskets and o rings. Sorry about the head gaskets
