I think Dave S had some bad experiences with electric fans... After reading what he says you may change your mind on them.

I never could keep the Flex lites working.

After about a year, one of the fan blades would crack and break off.

End of fan it was so out of balance.

Fuel savings was not enough to offset the cost of th efans, so the stock fan went back on.

The Tarus fan might be something to try.

But 33 amps draw, you are going to need a bigger alternator if you run the fan much.

donno how it would work out on the truck, on the jeep electric fan never has come on when I was moving over 10mph, warmups are awfull fast too

that taurus fan does have two speed available low side draws about 8 amps and I've never wired up the high side on the jeep application, I could get some measurements tomorow if anyone wants them

I dunno guys, even with a locked fan the moment I get onto the throttle I can see it show up on my temperature gauge, granted as soon as I let off she drops right back down, but still... airflow is needed with these trucks, lots of airflow.
