also wounder if we can register it as a 51 last time it was in the michigan system was in 1963

 

It's an:
F1 = half ton ford pick-up
R = 239 Flathead V8 engine
1 = 1951
HM = Highland Park, Michigan Assembly Plant
and the
214xx is the 11,4xxth truck assembled there - so it's a late 51. Those numbers started at 10001 for the first truck.
