Who knows a thing or two about the 7.3 in MD?

I have some basic things I want to do to my 01. Anyone willing to lend a hand with good knowledge of the 7.3 and 4R100?

1.) Turbo Rebuild
2.) Up Pipes
3.) 4R100 Valve Body

Isn't that just an upgraded E4OD?

Pretty much. I was looking for a hand with a valve body install, and possibly rebuilding my turbo. Not sure I want to tackle the up-pipes just yet.

Have you searched the 2001 7.3 turbo threads, Joey? Or the 2001 E4OD transmission forum.

As far as doing it, I don't think it is too intense and should be a days worth of work. I have read up on each part, mainly looking for an experienced hand incase I get into trouble

I don't have a lot of tranny expererance, but if you have a tutorial, it should not be too difficult. My prob is now physical. Getting to damn old to climb under cars/trucks!

I just turned 32 in March, and I am getting too old as well!!! I just keep telling myself, "one or two more things and then I will leave it alone"
