Question The never ending carb questions...

Alright all im thinking about my poor 150, it probly wont be running for a good while (partly becouse of no money). But im looking at things and ill have the 380cfm webber carb off of my luv in 2 years (the luv gets a 327 then ), so im wondering will running a 380 2 barel bee a good carb for the 300-6, ill probly run cliffy intake.

The never ending carb questions...

A 380 carb would be perfect for a 300, but the throttle response might be a little soft because the venturis are so large. It might also be a problem finding jets and other tuning parts for it, although some Webers use the same parts as Edelbrock/Carter carbs.

why would the jets not be correct for it, im kinda new to playing whith carbs.
