sbc forged pistons
I just feel like a good gripe. I was reading about sbc 350 pistons and Ford 352 pistons being used in the 300 because of its 4" bore.
Then I checked on Summit Racing. A set of Fed. Mogul FORGED pistons for a 350 sbc=$210!!!!!!! "something is rotten in the state of Denmark."
I wonder how much the machine shop charges are to bore the pin diameter, etc. to make them work. I can certainly see why people go that route.
C.R.? With flat tops like that piston, with 5 c.c. valve reliefs, can someone calculate where that would put your c.r. on a oe block and head?
My avatar is a shot of me partying/snorkling in Cancun.

Ya man you know it. Take a look around and you will notice that if you conform, fit into that slot, only ask for what is offered, make life easy for the powers that be, etc. Everything is cheap and easy.... dull and boring, no originality, no individuality,..... but cheap and easy,..... relativly speaking.
