CARB diesel rules under fire

Also posted in S. Calif forum, but this could be the beginning of some rollback:
San Diego Source > Construction > CARB to amend diesel regulations

Even if there is some rollback in the regulations in the near term, I wonder if those regulations won't be back up on the today some day soon. Then the crunch to be complaint will be happening again.

Would be nice to be able to actually READ the article, without giving away the farm in the process...

I HATE newspaper websites....

On edit:

I wonder exactly what they'll be considering. Given CARB's "clout", I doubt the changes would be substantive enough to do any "real" good. Perhaps pushing back compliance dates a year or so?

I wonder if they've been hearing the scuttlebutt that says that there will wind up being BIG transload businesses being set up opposite the CA border (in AZ and NV), and CA WON'T be getting the tax revenues from said businesses?

Sorry about the link. When I posted, I could read it. Can't read it now.

Will look for updates and post when I get time.

Nothing against you.

But aggravation against the San Diego newspaper.

CARB's website is a better source anyway.
