Celebrate Earth Day...

...and drive a gas-guzzler!!! I went on a bit of a drive today after my classes got out for the day, just to celebrate Earth Day! It was a good day to go for a bit of a cruise and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I recycled both cans of RC Cola that I drank while driving so I figure that I about broke even. What did you all do to celebrate?

**I didn't realize I was in the 6 cyl forum when I posted this the first time...it was meant for this page.

I always park at the far end of the campus parking lot so that 1. I don't have to try and fit in (and out) of a tight spot with a long bed truck, and 2. I don't have to deal with drunken acts of stupidity near my truck. I don't need anyone running into it or taking a leak on it, I just want it out of people's way. It works. I have yet to have anything bad happen to it as of yet. ...knocks on wood... I still love the fact that I can look out at the parking lot everymorning and see an old blue oval looking back at me. I may have one of the oldest vehicles on campus, but the thing puts a big smile on my face everytime I look down at it.

I towed my 18ft travel trailer around town to check mileage and give the truck a good shakedown...mileage went down, as expected, but it was all for Earth Day

I just sat in my truck and let it run with the throttle wide open.

All for Earth Day.

Well my truck isn't necessarily a thing of beauty, but it's definitely got plenty of character! In the few short months that I've owned it, we have a good friendship.

Alright Nighthawk, I can agree with you on that! I don't want to own any other vehicle! 80's and early 90's Ford Trucks are the way to go!
