Over size Transmission pan

Does anyone know a good place to buy a oversized transmission pan for an 06 F150 I pull a camper and would like to help keep the tranny cool while I am pulling. Looking for a good F150 place to shop for upgrades.

what temp is the trans getting too? mine stays around 195*-205* with a loaded trailer. i would not worry unless you get near 230*
i also would look into a larger trans cooler before a bigger pan.

I would say mine stays around the same temp but I guess I am trying to do preventive maintanace to help make the truck last longer even using it and not just driving it around town as if it where a car.

do you have a way to keep an eye on the temp? i have an edge evolution programmer and i use it for keeping an eye on all my engine and trans vitals.

as with any kind of hydraulic system, a larger fluid reservoir can act as an extra "heat exchanger" plus you can get one like my B&M pan and its not only aluminum, have fins, but also a drain plug.

forgot how much, but I am waiting for my tranny service to do the swap.

IMO its a good idea. At the very least it won't hurt.

but when moving/ pulling a trailer the cool air hitting the front air dam/ trans cooler is a huge help to cooling a trans

no no no...I am not talking about taking out the factory tranny cooler...just in addition to the OS pan bro.

I would never run a vehicle without some kind of external cooler or radiator tank mount cooler...

lol, who said anything about removing the cooler? im saying off road (slow moving) is where a OS pan helps but when towing the cooler is very efficient and provides more cooling ability
