I got a 03 Navigator where the driver's seat does the same thing. The stealership said it needs a new (blower?) motor for the seat. I was quoted 400 something parts and labor so I declined it at this time.

 

The blower is a $70 part, and it can be installed without removing the seat in about a half hour.

 

Has anyone found the fix to this problem? I just purchased a 2003 EB Expedition and the heated/cooled seats don't work and the lights don't light up on either the driver or passenger controls.I checked the fuses and they were good.

 

Did you check to make sure all of the connectors are plugged in under the seats?

 

Interesting that it is both, I believe they are independent - separate modules and fuses.

 

Any fixes found? My 04 Expy EB seats have never worked. Everyone says the fan clogs with foam or the heater has a short but the switch always works for a few seconds before cutting off. Mine just won't even switch on for a second. I read that it needs to be programmed again but dealer said no programming involved, it must be bad parts. I'd love to get this fixed.
