diesel fuel

Hi im new to the alternative fuels for diesel and was wondering if i could run a mix of No2 diesel fuel and vegetable oil i heard you could run straight vege oil but has a good chance of screwing something up . i was wondering if 50/50 of diesel and vege oil would work any info would be apreciated thanks i have a 1995 ford 7.3L powerstroke with a superchips tuner

In a word...No. If your going to use veggie oil you need to use a heated system like the "Vegistroke". Burning unheated WVO will shorten the life of your diesel. You can also make biodiesel out of the WVO which is better all around.
