I cranked mine up to level. You should jack up the front end while doing it, this puts less pressure on the bars. You should measure the distance between the top of the tires and the wheel well. Good luck.

any difference in tire wear? handleing? ride? or anything in that matter?
you cant break them by going too far. all your doing is raising the truck body. It does not get heavier or put more load on the springs, all it does it raise it up, which tilts the tires out slightly at the top... you may need to have alignment checked if you go all the way with the jack screws... you could put a level on the tire before and after and see how much it actually changes the level.
There is a point at which you can turn them too far and not be able to align for camber or castor - or something (I forget), but you can get an inch or so out of them.
