Axle Advice

I have an 87 F-150 and am looking to put 1 tons under it and make the front a straight axle. any suggestions to what year my donor truck should be? thanks.

86 to 92 F350 will still have a king pin design, and 92 to 97 (HD) will have a ball joint.
Most desirable is 86 to 92. Its the way to go.

Well seeing as how he says he needstime and money, it doesn't sound like he'll be doing the SAS real soon lol.
