160 extra horsepower from a 4.6L

i was doing some research online and i found this article from hot rod magazine and they did a build up on a ford 4.6L and thought i would share it for the guys that thing these motors have no power

2006 F-250 6.0L, 6" lift 35" TOYO open county MT/ 20" XD monster wheels, 4" turbo back MBRP exhaust with 5" tip, Banks 6-gun tuner and IQ monitor, rancho dual steering stabilizers, high idle switch, blue spring update, ARP studs, powermax turbo, EGR deleted, dieselite coolant filter, 6.4L banjo bolts, new HPOP, new standpipes, 08 exhaust gaskets.

The new hot rod magazine shows a new set of heads for the 4.6l they flow so much better than even there ported PI heads. I think they said 453 hp from the same engine by switching to the new style heads and cam. I think trick flow made them.

Cant wait to see someone bolt these puppies to a 5.4l truck engine and see what kind of numbers it can pull bellow 5200 rpm.

I know the heads in the new mag are designed to address the severe flow issue with the stock 2v heads.
