My dad and I built this Ranchero over about a 7 year period. its still not 100% done. we are changing out the steering to a rack and pinion setup which is on the way. we also want to change out the front suspension for air bags but it seems the only option is a kit from ride tech which is $600 just for the bags.

Specs:
chopped 3"
shaved doors and tailgate handles
Shmeeding Preformance 347 stroker, full roller w/ alum. AFR heads (about 425hp)
MSD 6AL ignition
Ford 9" rear with posi trac
17" Torq Thrust 2s up front 18's out back
FORD AOD tranny

found these pictures from the day we chopped it. all you need is a sawzall a driveway.
we ended up having to cut the roof down the center and widen it. you can see the cut in the 4th picture.
the hardest part was getting the glass. we ended up having a guy sand down a stock windshield ($2800. ouch)
