400 crankshaft oil slinger

I am building a 400 and i cant find the crankshaft oil slinger that i took out of it. I remember reading somewhere that if you have a timing chain that has the two sets of teeth on it(edelbrock performer-link) that you dont need the oil slinger. Is this true? If not where can i find an oil slinger? I have looked all over the internet and cannot find one. Thanks in advanced.

It doesn't matter if it has one or not. Ford at some point stopped putting them on.
