Ididit and Flaming river make several versions that would work from paintable steel without ignition or shifter to polished SS to Chrome with in column ignition and shifter.
Chevy Van are easily adapted but a bit hard to find. Most automobile ones are too short and have a lot of excess bracketry and molded covers. (avoid any with an air bag unless it has been removed or you are sure how to remove it. It is as explosive and dangerous as a small stick of dynamite should it be accidently detonated by a static spark or crossed wire.)

Some of the early big car (Olds, Cad) have somewhat long columns with tilt, and can be inexpensive.

Use a steering column out of a '89-'90 Caddy Deville ( RWD )with out column shift . SVF has a column drop that bolts to the F-1 dash & Caddy steering column . It is a direct bolt in . Used this system on the 1ST-RIDE.

The only problem being that you can't get a 79-80 Caddy column without a column shift. The 79-85 Eldo were all the same body style but none of them had a floor shift or console.

The Flaming River columns are all Stainless. You can buy a column and paint it or polish it yourself. Much cheaper than buying a polished one, if that's what you want.

A lot of the 70s & 80s F150 have the tilt column & some of them have floor shifts
they are really cheap too.Like sparky said that the turn signal lever also is the
tilt lever. The dimmer switch is still on the floor.

70 F series tilts, don't have the key on the column either so you can still use the original key and push button start. As noted before, it the truck had a 4 speed, there is no column shift to mess with either.

Here is a left field idea. The "tilt and swing" column from a late 60s/early 70s T-Bird or Mustang with floor shift would work. The nice feature with these is that whan a solenoid on the column is energized (when in park and drivers door is open) the upper part of the column and wheel pivot to the right and up. The ones with column shift can have the collar and shift indicator can be removed.

1978 was the first year Ford offered a Tilt Wheel in F100/350's and Bronco's. It was available with a 4 speed manual or an A/T only.

Most 1978/79's did not have a Tilt Wheel, as it was an extra cost factory installed option. Everyone wants one, few find them.

And they aren't cheap...unless the seller is clueless.

Whether the F100/350 (or Bronco) is an XLT, Lariat or whatever, has nothing to do with it. Even bare bones Customs could be ordered with a Tilt Wheel.

As stated, some ppl with trucks (and cars-beginning in 1967) have a tilt wheel, but don't know that...because it's operated by the turn signal handle.

Press it forward: BOING! The 1981 Escort's & Lynx's were the first FoMoCo vehicles to have a separate tilt wheel lever.

1963/64: Ford Galaxies, full sized Merc's (both-as an option) and 1962/66 T-Birds (all these cars w/an A/T only) came with the "Swing-Away" steering column, but there's no tilt wheel feature.

1963/64 Galaxie 500XL's, Mercury S-22's came with bucket seats, floor shift and a full console. But when the Swing-Away column is present, the shift lever is on the column.

Since most car columns go thru the firewall just under the dash are they long enough to use in our trucks when the column is installed at a much steeper angle and goes thru the toeboard? I was of the impression they would be too short?

I have had two 68 / 69 T-Birds with the swing away (still have the 69), but they were/are bench seat cars with column shift. Push forward on turn signal lever to tilt. I have a plain late 60s T-Bird column in the barn, and can measure it this weekend. Also, E Series Club Wagons in the 80s had tilt as on option. A pretty simple column, if it is long enough. The stuff for the shift lever can be removed and a cover piece fabbed.

Just some left field ideas to ponder on.
